4 SIMPLE HEALTHY RECIPES FOR TWO - AND DESSERTS!

We’re always on the hunt for quick simple healthy recipes - or recipes in general! We just don’t think that you can have enough and we’ll pass along what we’ve found onto you. We like to do this because there are plenty of amazing options for unhealthy food, and we’re thankful for that, but we don’t really think that is the case for healthy recipes that aren’t repeated over and over. So, we’re here to do our part to change that. That makes you lucky. In any event, we’ve amassed three simple healthy recipes for two for you with a twist - we’ve added a dessert. Let’s get into it!

1. Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken Curry

Pulled chicken curry is amazing and slow cookers are amazing. It’s really a perfect marriage. This national dish should always be on any list, even more if you can make a very healthy version of it. All the gang’s here, chutney, massala, and coconut milk. What’s more is that you really don’t have to do a lot as the slow cooker does the work.

2. Slow Cooker Beef Tagine

Heck, we decided to throw another slow cooker recipe in the quick and simple healthy meals list. Let’s be honest, there’s nothing simpler than a slow cooker. You just set it and forget it - throwing in all of the ingredients in and wait. With this succulent Morrocan dish, you’ll have a tender beefy dinner in a few hours. You don’t even need a tangine pot, and for that - we’re thankful.

3. Vegan Jambalaya

Jambalaya is easily one of the best foods. Ever. We had to go with the vegan option because it’s an extremely simple and healthy meal. It retains very much of its signature spice and flavor, only just substituting the meat. It’s a treat and it’ll make you want to go to New Orleans, y’all.

4. Brownie Loaf Cake

We promised dessert and you’ll love this brownie loaf cake. It’s hard for you to even consider it to be healthy. But trust us - it is. With it being a brownie, it’s loaded with chocolate and other confectionery goodness. Featuring white chocolate, dark chocolate, maple syrup, peanut butter, and banana - you’re in for a real treat.
