We have taken on the challenge of documenting part or all of our 6 week Beach Body with Lucy 2019 journeys with you all! Here’s our Week 4 thoughts…
The Workouts 💦
Bek says “Ive just completed Week 4 of Beach Body with Lucy and loved all 4 workouts! I really liked the Legs, Bums & Tums warm up with Robyn, I loved that the workout with Cecilia this week required no equipment as I had left my dumbbells at home, so this was perfect! The workout with Alex was a sweaty one, perfect mix of weights and HIIT! I chose to do the LIVE Dance Fit workout with Caroline for my fourth workout this week and it was SO much fun, if you are ever feeling a bit down or lacking motivation then this workout is for you!
I was feeling so good this week, I even went for a 9.5 mile bike ride with my fiancé Dale to enjoy some of the glorious weather!
I have felt SO unmotivated and unorganised this week! Lethargy has hit me hard, whether this be something to do with my thyroid or just general #newmumlife I have struggled with my motivation massively this week! I haven't given my workouts 100% each time BUT i have got up and done them which is so much better than sitting on my bum which is what I really wanted to do.
The intensity of the Beach Body with Lucy workouts is certainly ramping up now and the SWEAT IS REAL!
I'm going to be honest, I really don't feel like I have achieved any physical changes over the last 4 weeks. This could simply be because I am having a bit of a 'meh' week or because I generally have to work SUPER hard for my results. Either way, if there aren't massive changes at the end of these 6 weeks for me, I will still be happy that I have thoroughly enjoyed this year's Beach Body with Lucy program and will definitely be coming back to do it again before the year is out, I am sure!
The Nutrition 🍴
I've eaten an 80/20 diet style this week as I went out with my friends for a meal where I chose a lighter option but indulged in a cocktail or two!
My favourite RWL recipe I made this week was the Courgetti with Garlic King Prawns; super quick to make and incredibly delicious.
I have gone back to basics this week with my meals and enjoyed applying the 30 Day Get Lean principles to the majority of what I have eaten while also making some other Results wuth Lucy recipes as well. I said in last week's blog that I shall be finishing the second half of my Beach Body with Lucy journey by following the 30 Day Get Lean diet style 🥦🥒 however, you HAVE to be in the right frame of mind for that and actually, was I saying this because I am putting pressure on myself to have some amazing transformation to share at the end of this 6 week blog series? Maybe. So I I have generally been enjoying a majority of 30 Day Get Lean meals while also having some of my favourite RwL ones as well
