My Ultimate FAQ's

I get asked soooooo many of the same questions every single day about fitness, health & lifestyle so I thought I'd answer all of your questions here as my ultimate FAQ's! 💃🏽

How do you get motivated? 🤔

First and foremost, I always remind myself why I started. Be sure of why you wanted to start something and write down your big why. That way you can keep going back to it when you aren’t feeling motivated to remind yourself.

How do you stay in the zone? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Personally, it's a lifestyle choice so it's easier to 'stay in the zone'. It is a part of my life to exercise regularly and eat healthily 80% of the time.

How does 80/20 work? 🍽

You have to try to be mindful of what you eat and nourish your body 80% of the time which means the remaining 20% you are able to do whatever you fancy without binging. I tend to do my 80% during the week and relax at the weekends. But you can do your 80/20 however you want and what fits you best.

How do you stop from feeling guilty after a bad day of food? 🍫

I don’t. Because I made the decision to eat whatever naughty treat I wanted to. After that, I just move on. It’s best not to attach feelings to your actions but instead just be responsible for your actions.

How can you stop the "f**k it I ate a pack of biscuits so it’s all over now" feeling?

Because it’s not all over. It's just a slip up, you're only human. Plus, we've all been there, it's not something only some people do. It's very likely that the majority of people have eaten a pack of something that is not the recommended portion size. Just think and keep reminding yourself "I haven’t wasted my hard work and time for nothing!" If I can do it you can definitely get straight back into it!

How many times a week do you train & how long for? 💦

I train usually train 4 times a week. But remember, sometimes commitments get in the way so when it doesn't happen - don't stress!

I like to for 30 to 45 minutes depending on my schedule, but even if I only have time for a 5 minute workout, some movement is better than no movement.

Do you like mixing your workouts? 🧘🏼‍♀️

Yes! I love to mix my workouts it keeps me motivated and when I mix it up I tend to not get bored. That's why I always recommend my Fitness, Food & Mindset membership because there is everything you need on there; pilates, yoga, barre, boxRcise, HIIT, dance... you name it we've got it! Is weight training good for weight loss? 🏋🏽‍♀️

100%! I used to think weight training would make me bulky and I didn't want that for myself. But truuuust me when I say it won't! In fact, it's one of the best ways for weight loss. Click here to read this blog to tell you how!

What’s your favourite meal? 🍝

I can't say no to a good home made spaghetti bolognese. YUM! 😍 Fancy my homemade recipeClick here.

What’s your favourite alcoholic drink? 🍷
