Invest confidence and belief in yourself! To be successful, you HAVE to believe in yourself first. You cannot expect other people to have faith and belief in you, if you do not even have belief in you! It's not about thinking that you're better than other people, it's about knowing that you are worth the investment of time and energy to put yourself first when it comes to your self care.

 

"Today, I am grateful for..."

Take time to reflect on your day and process the victories - big or small!

Didn't work out but you did go for a walk on your lunch break?
Smashed that business presentation you have been worrying about?
Opted for a healthier option when out for dinner?

Celebrate every success that gets you closer to where you want to be. This will help you to reset your mental filter to a much more positive one (especially if you've had one of those days where you have felt like nothing was going particularly well).

 

"This has taught me..."

 The concept of 'learning how to fail, well' is a buzz phrase used often in the educational and business sectors. Did your day not quite go how you wanted it to? Why? How can you learn from this and improve next time?

 

"I am not alone."



 Find your tribe and love them hard! Use them to help you recognize and celebrate your successes when you might be finding it a bit tricky to do this for yourself. Having a supportive network or friends, colleagues or within an online community can really help you to stay on the success train. This is why we adore our community of rwlfitties !

A very old and wise saying which gets chucked around usually when we are losing patience with a project or feel like we aren't getting anywhere with a particular goal. We must have patience. As much as you might have a particular goal in mind; the ultimate goal is to live a balanced, healthy life that you love.

 

"I am only human."

You are only one person and there is only so much you can do. Being conscientious around yourself will help you lead a successful life. Trying to be perfect all the time is impossible (what even is perfect?!) will only leave you with a sense of failure - even if you are anything but failing at what you're doing!

 

"My future starts now."

Don't rely the success of your future (and happiness!) on achieving a specific goal. Your future starts now! So start showing up every single day as the type of person you aspire to be and act as though you know your worth and your success - even if you are not quite where you'd like to be yet. Acknowledge what is serving you well in your life, and remove anything (or anyone) that isn't helping you live your best life!
