How to Enjoy Calorie Packed Summer Parties!

Staying fit and healthy, whilst also trying to lose weight (for those of us where this is out goal) can be difficult at the best of times. But it can become especially difficult in the summer when there's endless calorie-packed BBQ's, picnic's and gatherings!

Here's our top summer party tips to help you stay consistent with your healthy habits, without missing out on all of the fun...!

 

 

Go prepared ✅

Bring a dish?! If you're trying to stay on track all you need to do is turn up prepared and stay focused (although there's nothing wrong with a bun or white sandwiches every once in a while)! Yes you can be flexible and 'treat' yourself but if you go prepared, you're more than likely to stay on track!

 

Healthy BBQ choices 🍗

If you're outside in the summer heat, be sure to pack plenty of water in your cool bag! If water is not up to your standard party or BBQ drink, then why not enjoy a nice refreshing healthy cocktail or Pimms 😏

 

Games 🏏

It is even a proper BBQ/party if you haven't played some kind of competitive family sport? Not only is it a fun way to end the day to 'burn off' some of your dinner, it will keep you away from over-indulging in snacks.

 

Just because your friends are hosting this weekend's BBQ and you know it is going to be calorie-packed, it doesn't mean you shouldn't go because you're worried about 'ruining your diet'!

 

Go prepared as much as you can, so the healthier choices are easier to make!
